Prince in Print coming to a close
As much fun as our PrinceinPrint blog has been, we have started new blogs to allow more flexibility in how we share our ideas.
Child's Play (Stephanie's new blog)

I started planning preschool activities when my first daughter was
about two. I became dissatisfied with the teaching resources available
and decided to create my own preschool curriculum. I wanted something
grounded in the sciences to keep the material interesting. Now, I plan
monthly themes and develop mini lessons to teach the topics.
To me, simplicity is the key when it comes to teaching preschool.
Kids are simple and do better when the activities and projects are
child-focused. I don’t believe in workbooks or file folder games. I do
believe in reading, discussing, exploring, creating, and doing. I
believe that children can learn advanced concepts if they are taught
little by little with a central focus.
Everything in this blog is meant to be simple and realistic for young
children. The lessons and activities are also designed to take very
little prep time so you have more time to spend with your kids.
